Digital Strategist, 2016-2022

As the chief digital strategist at FFAA, I led the development of interest-based target groups to represent independent and lean-conservative persuasion groups, as well as progressive base groups. During my last few years there we switched to using our own lists to create audiences due to the post-2016 restrictions that slowly made interest-based targeting less effective.

I worked on a range of campaign objectives, but focused most of my time on listbuilding/leads and awareness building, mostly via Facebook/Instagram, Twitter and Google search and display advertising, including managing Google ad grants accounts. I also had success driving direct legislative contact, especially via Twitter using EveryAction’s social media advocacy tools.

WOMENCOUNT

Digital Director, 2015-Present

Most of WomenCount’s fundraising is done via a personal ask to donors, but during the 2020 primary I did help the organization run a signup campaign that converted 31 percent of signups into donors over the course of the cycle.
